this is a "pangea portrait" it is a face made by mean of the union of the continents and islands of the world.
the different colours underline the different continents and somehow also the different colours of the skin of the people all around the world.
the world is one. all the races are just one race.
the first map came from the evolution of this one: if you notice, this union of maps reminds a human face. A little bit of Americas, just a point of Africa, half Australia, a little bit of Japan and New Zealand, just a few more islands like Sicily, Madagascar, Taiwan and Cuba, and here you are: the Ma·p·otrait!
