kiss faces

when you're looking at the beautiful face of your girlfriend you'd probably watching something like this:

but do you really think you're kissing the same beautiful face when you're approaching to her to give her a kiss? noooooooooooooooooooooo! you'd be really wrong! because of an obvious perspective effect when your eyes are to near to the head of your girlfriend the real face you're kissing is not the one you thought but it's something more similar to this image below!
you can easily check in any moment you want! just notice properly the real view you're having looking at your girlfriend's eyes while you're kissing each other.

so, did you ever noticed you're kissing a sort of strange Cyclops?
the beauty of a face is only in your mind.

3 ventajas de la prehistoria

tres ventajas fundamentales de un prehistórico con respecto a nosotros hombres modernos:

1- no hay calendarios por eso no hay fecha de nacimiento, consecuentemente uno no sabe cuanto años tiene. eso quiere decir que uno es viejo cuando se siente viejo y no cuando cuenta los cumpleaños.

2- no hay espejos y por lo tanto nadie sabe cual es la apariencia de su propia cara. siendo eso normal e básicamente también una cuestión imposible de solucionar, uno deja de plantearse el problema de como está su cara, si es suficientemente atractivo o demasiado feo. simplemente uno es como es y punto.

3- incluso si apareciera por artilugio de magia un espejo o si se pudiera uno ver en la cara, no habría cánones estéticos tan generalizados como ahora por los cuales decir cuando uno es feo o bonito en general. así que eso junto al "punto 2" quita toda importancia a las preocupaciones estéticas que tanta gente hoy en día cuida y sufre.

una pared en Mumbai, India... unas manchas... yo tan solo añadí un ojo y unas pocas líneas muy pequeñas.

Una stupida sequenza di foto con una musica di fondo.

La faccia è sempre la mia, ma non è una prova esagerata di egocentrismo, è solo che sono la faccia piú ricorrente tra le mie foto. L'idea era di unire serie di foto in vari momenti della mia vita e in vari luoghi e unirle mantenendo il mio viso come punto fisso.

in realtà avevo l'idea di fare lo stesso con foto delle mie mani, ma non ho abbastanza foto per farlo davvero. nel video c'è un momento in cui c'ho provato, con dubbi risultati.

Essendo la canzone troppo lunga sono andato a pescare altre sequenze di auto-foto riempitive e ne ho trovato due interessanti:

- la prima (maglietta verde) fatta in un hotel di Luena, Angola. una notte del 2009 senza nulla da fare e con qualche progetto di foto-sequenze in mente.

- la seconda in Marocco a Casablanca, nel 2004, un alfabeto-visivo di fotogrammi di fonemi, utili da montare in sequenza per dar l'impressione di parlare.


l'idea era infatti anche quella di usare un alfabeto visivo-fotografico per "cantare" le parole della canzone.
Il risultato non è un gran che a dire il vero, ma comunque, non vi negheró la possibilitá di vederlo e orrorizzarvi...

Per il resto niente, foto pescate qua e lá nelle mie vecchie cartelle del computer.
L'ossessiva ripetizione della mia faccia e le strane espressioni davanti al computer non vi spaventino, non è una cosa che faccio normalmente.... sono solo cazzate sperimentali.

WEATHER FACES

avete notato che facce fa la gente quando spioviggina o piove?

si ingobbisce, socchiude gli occhi, fa delle smorfie assurde, il collo sparisce tra le spalle...

invece quando esce il sole (specie se trasversalmente e dopo periodi di pioggia) avete notato come la gente sorride beata, quasi cammina ad occhi chiusi, facce di serenità pura!

non sarebbe bello fare un libro fotografico con le facce della gente in base al tempo che fa?
