PREOCCUPAZIONE
Stato di ansia o angoscia che non permette di star tranquilli e sereni. La parola "preoccupazione" è etimologicamente associata alla frustrazione tipica del disoccupato che cerca un lavoro senza riuscirci; infatti originariamente il termine deriva dalla ricerca di occupazione (non ancora ottenuta, e per cui definibile come "ricerca pre-occupazionale"). L'attività di ricerca del nuovo posto di lavoro si esprimeva allora come "stato di pre-occupazione" essendo essa la fase necessariamente anteriore a una occupazione di lavoro e per cui pre-occupazionale (senza alcuna accezione negativa del termine); allo stesso modo l'aspirante nuovo impiegato era definibile come un "pre-occupato". Tuttavia con l'avvento della crisi finanziaria internazionale trovare un impiego divenne sempre più arduo e la continua frustrazione della ricerca di lavoro venne associata a uno stato perennemente problematico e ansioso che toglie serenità e pace, da cui la parola finale: "preoccupazione" cioè l'ansia simile a quella di chi sta disperatamente cercando lavoro ma non lo trova mai.
